Meet the founder

Kaelyn Yen is a rising senior from the Bay Area, California who has a passion for SCIENCE (especially biology) and spending time with kids. Over the last 2 years, Kaelyn has served as a swim instructor for kids at American Swim Academy. In the mean time, she volunteers at the American Red Cross and works at Trader Joe's.  At school, she is a board member of her school's Women in STEM club, which is dedicated to give Women opportunities in STEM.  She is also involved in organizing her school's Relay for LIfe event.

Kaelyn is looking forward to launching a new initiative, Science Sundays, in an effort to spark curiosity in the STEM field and bring our passion to young learners in the community. 100% of our profits go into creating STEAM kits to be distributed to organizations that support under-resourced and under privileged children.
